Howdy, neighbor!

It’s a beautiful day in Pflugerville.

I’m David Rogers, your City Councilman. Since you elected me in 2020, I’ve fought to keep your taxes low, your city government grounded in trust and transparency, and Pflugerville affordable and welcoming for every neighbor.

A little about me

I wasn’t born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could.

My wife Lisa and I have raised all of our kids in the same Pflugerville house since the day we brought them home from the hospital. I’m a small town lawyer who stands up for homeowners and neighbors against the folks who would push them around, and I bring that same scrappy, common sense streak to City Hall.

When I’m not at City Hall, you’ll find me at a high-school Pfootball game, at the movies, or out back doing battle with the obnoxious weeds in my yard.

Our hometown

From a prairie cabin in 1853 to the Pflugerville we call home today.

A lot of us are new to Pflugerville, so we built a little corner of the site about the German farmers who founded it, the funny story behind the “Pf,” and the neighbors who make it home today.
